active role
in their own recovery process.”
Pool therapy programs are designed individually with
determined goals established by the MD, PT and patient. Uses
the unique properties of water; buoyancy, viscosity and hydrostatic
pressure to assist motion, provide resistance and reduce edema.
An experienced, licensed Physical
Therapist will instruct you in an exercise program including;
relaxation, stretching, range of motion, and strengthening
exercises. Pool therapy is beneficial to individuals of any age.

Pool therapy provides an opportunity to develop improved strength,
range of motion, flexibility, coordination, endurance, and general
conditioning. The pools are handicap accessible and
therapeutically heated to 92° F. A hydraulic lift and
underwater treadmill are available.
Benefits include decreased pain, increased relaxation, improved
circulation, and improved posture.
